oh right, so now i'm happily having my energy charged up, being sleeping for like only 2 to 3 hours everynight this week, didnt even hav the time to rest after i woke up thn straight go to school to hav my brain juice all squeezed out, until i almost faced a serious drought in my brain, just like a dried grape. just kidding. i know it's not funny, it's a cold joke btw.

after the exam, many of my frens skipped school n stayed at home, hibernating (this is wad Mr Ang sed. oh yea, Mr Ang told us a very weird but funny story. it's from an old movie btw, according to him. the story was set in the future, where all the recources on earth were finished n they had to recycle everything, including water, food, clothes, anything, including shit. thn during tat time, ppl could live a long life coz of good medicine n so on. in the end, too much old ppl around, so the younf young ones had to end the old ones' life, in a very harmonious way, thn pushed them into a machine tat recycled them into biscuits so that the others could eat. O.o''' after he told us this story, whenever he makes a mistake on the board, me, Allan n Jason wil sure say :"ooh, teacher, u too old liaw~ need to push into the machine liaw`~") anyway, many were absent these two days, n the teachers havn finished marking our paper, which means, free but boring periods. so i sneaked into my neighbour's class, 5J, to look for Faye n Mangyik. in the end i got 'cubit-ed' by Pn Fong n almost got caught by Mr Ang. muahahahahaha~

some of the papers had been given back though. Add Maths 2 (81%), History (78%), Modern Maths (95%), Moral (85%), Chemistry paper 1 and Bio paper 1, both 38/50.

not bad for me liaw lah, at least i feel happy with wad i got. i deserve to get these marks. =__=

BUT I STILL WANA IMPROVE!!!!!!! coz others can get 90++, why cant i do the same??? yosh~!! 1 1/2 months left. it's not too late yet! i'm goin to study harder n harder n harder! until even the gamma ray cant even go through me!! nyahahaha!!! yep yep! i believe tat i can do better!!! :D

ok, it started with a phone call i received last Friday.

XX : " hello, may i speak to Tay Ei Chi plz?"
me : "Ei Chi speaking"
XX : " oh, we're calin from the Galleria n would like to inform u tat the prize giving ceremony will take place next Sat, 23 of Nov, 7.00pm at Holiday Inn."
me : " ok. thnx. n erm..we'll only know the result by tat day izit?"
XX : " yes."
me : " ok, thank u v much."

so i'd been very nervous for a week. bcoz it's not easy to get the first prize u know? as u duno the taste of the judges and i'm competiting with all the other 14 art elites from around Sarawak! O.o'''

anyway, all the winning entries were being exhibited just outside the dining room, so i know wad i got already b4 entering the room. n i felt SO relieved :D at least i got a top 3 (my other frens from GRSS all got consolation prize, congrats to u all!! :D )

the first prize was won by my art fren who is from Sibu :) her name is Xiao duno wad oledy (dang, i owez forgotten her name T_T) anyway, i was so happy when i saw her just now, it's like, meeting an old fren! we owez met each other during the past years state level drawing competition organized by the government, let me see...since primary 6? haha! n it's either she's the champion or me! haha~ couldnt believe it when i see her just now! n yep~~ congrats to her man~~! i really felt so happy for her XD but she told me she still ragu-ragu of whether or not going to study at LimKokWing. well, hope she'll make a good decision soon :D

a guy from Bintulu won the second prize :) n he's a chinese, same age, very TALL n ooh~~ i like his style!!! Hip Hop man!!! haha!! n i was really amazed by his poster too!! O.o''' very shock!! he's the only one to use JUST colour pencils to finish his whole A3 size poster O.O'''' OMG!!! he'd drawn n coloured out every single detail n lines everywhere but the poster still looks very NEAT!! Sugoi~!! i really admire this guy!!! if u wan me to choose a poster tat really makes me kagum alot, i'll choose his. REALLY!!! SUGOI DES!!! (^_^)

me n my dad also did some observation on the posters exhibited there, n found out tat i'm the only one who used the graphic/abstract style for my poster. the others? still the same old realistic one. so i'm also feelin very proud tat, hey~! look! my style is different from all of ya! hehehe~~(*^_^*)

i'm feelin very happy not only becoz of the prize i got, but also tat i'd made quite a lot of new frens!!!! weee~~~ they gathered all the contestants to sit at a side with 5 tables, max 6 person each. so i took my seat, look around...my frens were sitting at the other table....aiyah, nvm lah, just sit there with strangers lah. at first they were so shy with each other (i was waiting for them to tok first) but in the end, i had to broke the silence by asking them where r they come from. n i'm so happy tat i started a conversation first, bcoz after tat, nearly all 4 of us at tat table went crazy n keep chatting non stop. esp the Batu Lintang form 3 gal named Elaine. she's so cute n easy-going n i found tat both of us are very 'ngam'! haha! this Elaine arr, also not bad orr~ she's the champion in the 12-15 yrs old category one * clap clap!!!* while the other gals r Chun Yan (or sth lidat, oso from BtLintang, same class with Elaine, got 3rd prize oso) , Chun Yan's sis (consolation prize) n Qian Ying (she's from Chung Hua Miri, form 2, got consolation prize oso) . i'm so darn happy tat i chose tat seat just now, coz when i looked at the other tables, the contestants from diff schools were just sitting there, u look at me i look at u, silence....

however, it's too bad tat i didnt get to ask for their hp numbers or email add. coz after the prize giving ceremony we (the top 3 for each category) were asked to stay back to take sum photos with our artwork. Elaine went back just after her photo session was done. *sob sob* she's so cute...hope i can still meet her in the future :) but i get to tok to the Bintulu guy b4 the photo shooting :P

Midnight lullaby

my sis kept asking me to update my blog just now, so here i am, thinking of wad shud i blog, coz these few weeks are just nothing but exam exam EXAM!! =__= until i'm starting to feel numb with all these tests...

honestly, there are times where i will doubt myself for getting straight As in the SPM. sumtimes i'm so afraid tat i cant get all A1s. for some, maybe if they get the passing grades or A2 in their SPM, they'll be content already. well, it's the opposite for my case.

since young, i was always told by my parents or other family members that my sis is very intelligent, almost excel in everything she does, n they all want me to be like her. she got 6 units (or wadever) for her SPMlast time, 7 yrs ago. now they dont count in units anymore, but how many A1s u've got, so my parents started to..kinda force me to get all A1s? if i dont, they'll start 'last time sis could this and that' , which i hate the most, coz for me, each person has their own talents, everyone is different., so why must i be like my sis? however, at the same time, it also gives me will to achieve better results thn my sis, to prove to them that i can do it too. but to no avail. i'm just average in my studies.

i have huge ambitions. i love design so much. clothes, graphics, posters, anything except interior design (dont ask me y). i love photography. i want to take great photos with me myself as the model. i'd promised myself that i'm going to create a brand named eiChi which will be known world-wide by the age of 35. selling wad is still yet to know. maybe i'll be like LV? or maybe Gucci? i wana set the trend for other ppl. i just wana be successful. u can say tat i'm greedy, i dont mind, coz i'm a LEO, and LEOs are ambitious ppl. u can also say that i'm still childish and dream alot, but sad to tell you tat i'd never been so determined in my life. but my family kinda against it. they want me to get a professional job, so that i can get high income, so they suggested me to become a lawyer *sounds of heart breaking* NEVER!!! i'm tellin u guys now that i will never ever be a lawyer!!!

well, with all these thoughts in mind, sumtimes i really think that, why am i studying so hard? it's not like chemistry has sumthing to do with the things i'm goin to venture in the future. why am i studying so hard when i know tat getting ALL A1s in my SPM is quite impossible to me? my parents already 'planted ' the 'all-A1s-is-wad-they-want-n-the-rest-even-got-one-A2-means-bad' within me. that's y sumtimes i feel really stressed n cried silently in my room, until the thought of giving up almost conquers my mind.

*sigh*

still, i must study hard. it's a student's responsibilty after all. i'll just have to put the hell lot of efforts in it and try my very best. i still cant believe that i'm aint a supergirl :)

recently i got hooked up with one fashion + romance anime, Paradise Kiss. actually i got attracted to it by it's opening theme song (u guys can go to my frenster page n listen to it) and also the fashion frenzy inside. wOot! the costumes inside the anime are all specially designed by Tokyo's top designer (i'd forgotten the name) n the mangaka is Ai Yazawa, the one hu drew the manga NANA.

here's a short summary of the Paradise Kiss story, taken from wikipedia :p

Yukari Hayasaka lives the typical life of a Japanese high school senior. She is constantly under the stress of her mother, Tomoko, who desperately wants her to succeed as a student. Walking the streets, Yukari is accosted by Arashi Nagase who tells her she has the perfect look. Shocked by his bizarre appearance and uncomprehending of his intentions, Yukari tries to escape, but bumps into Isabella, is "captured" by her, faints, and is brought to the Paradise Kiss atelier.

She regains consciousness in the studio and meets the kind and childlike Miwako, Arashi's girlfriend. The trio explains that they are students at the unique art school Yazawa Gakuen(School), and they ask her to be their model for the school's annual fashion show. At first she angrily declines and leaves in a huff, dropping her student handbook.

the style using inside are very..very....couldnt find the right word to escribe it. hmm.. very grand~ gothic!! more like gothic to me! :D n i love it! also got chic chic ones...with lots of florals~~!!! like the renaissance period's fashion!! also a bit like lollita..harajuku also got! aiyah~ alot lah! tat's y i love to watch it so much! the graphics in the anime are also superb, very lifelike! the buildings~ the cars! waseh!! everything is about FASHION in this anime! *clap clap*

OMG!! CANT BELIEVE THAT TODAY'S HISTORY PAPERS R SO MUCH EASIER THN I'D THOUGHT!!!MUAHAHAHA!!!!

i studied until 12.00am thn woke up at 2.30 am again this morning to continue pressing every history notes into my brain, thn only arrived school at 7.10am! exactly the time where the prefects took out their pens n notebooks to start writting down every names of those who are late. well, as i'm their senior *ehem*, they greeted me n let me passed just like tat! ha! n thn when i got into my class, wahlao eh~ everyone was 'pia-king' history like wad! after sum chatting n blaming n also cursing (of history lah, duh~) , it was known that everyone too, like me, turned into an owl n burnt midnight oil. all my frens were really, almost glued their eyes to the book even till the last minute b4 the exam starts. as for me, i was too tired n 'sien' to continue studying so i just sat there n listened to other friends' discussion on the subject. everyone was really, very kintio. coz too much to learn!! esp the politics one, how on earth m i going to actually memorise everything about it? O.o''' after receiving the paper, Jason n Yun Yew were the one who opened it n turned to the last page (essay part) and :" Ooowhhh~" loudly to the whole class. me n Ming thn quickly turned to the last page also and :" Ooowhh~" together with them, thn smile wickedly. Muahahahaha~!!! all of us had did one ofthe Q b4 during class and as for the other 2 essays, wOot! i know how to answer them! the things i'd learnt yesterday n this morning were still fresh in my mind!! hahaha!!!!! so my history essays were OK! but for the structure Qs in front arr...it's just a 'not bad' for me T_T coz i'd forgotten some of the details (form 5 one) and also got mixed sum history facts up a bit =__= aiyah~ nvm liaw lah~ it's over n i just need to study harder next time. oh, n make sure i studied n read tru EVERYthing thast is inside my history book :P

wOot~~ it's so much easier thn i'd thought! thank goodness!! XD

well, it was 11.30 when the 2nd history paper finished. many of them had gone home after that, n wad a pity, coz they didnt get the see the magnificent view of the sky...

anyway, so i stayed back today to REALLY finalise up the school magazine thing as we're sending it to the publisher today. actually we'd planned to go to the publisher at 2.00pm. but thn, Kenneth leh (neh, the kenneth tat me introduced in the previous previous post), hadnt converted all his file into 'Tif', n thn some of his files still hadnt really finished yet. so me, Piaw, n TohSoon (the chief editor of ThePalm06) boh pien lo, had to help him :p but when we finished our given job, Kenneth still complaining this n tat (same as Piaw one, never know when to be content n satisfied. dis Piaw actually complaint everything to me esp the typo in d karya section n also sum other sections, until i had to remind him tat i'm the graphic desginer n tat i only care about my design. after tat he still complaint. in the end i was too lazy to tolerate with him again n gav him all my files, tellin him to correct everything if he wanted them to be 100% perfect. so, i was actually very free oledy since dis Tuesday ^_^)

well, we just ignored his complaints n hurried him up to finish up his work XD in the end, we only reached Lee Ming Press at 3.30pm (May Ying, the editor of ThePalm06, brought us there. TohSoon came later coz he needed to fetch his sister to work first) we discussed about the mag thingy with the designer there for almost 1/2 hour....making sure that every files were actually there....deciding on the number of colored pages....n also the effect on the cover. ooh~~ my fellow greenians, i bet u guys wil gona hav a shock of ur life when u see the school mag this year. maybe not of the contents lar~ but on the designs!! muahahaha! we (me, Piaw n Kenneth) had put alot of effort in it! but really ar, me don really like the cover much. i still remembered i cursed alot when halfway doing tat cover...COZ IT'S NOT THE STYLE I WANT T_T..... i was kinda forced to make tat kind of cover just to suit principal's taste....he asked me to design like tat one.....*sob sob* so greenians, don blame the Graphic Team of Sidang Redaksi 2006 if u dislike the cover. it's wad our beloved principal wants. me also don like it much *sob sob*

anyway, back to topic. after the brief discussion, we met up with the BIG tauke of the Lee Ming Press O.o''' he's such a frenly tauke, asked about our work, told us about his way of running buisiness..."we keep upgrading u see? using the best printing machine! our standard same as the Singapore one"...so on n so forth. in short, he's praising his company himself :) we of coz got 'hu' him lah~ wan to make him happy mah :p so we tok tok n tok until we reached the ground floor, where the 'printing factory' was just beside us, with the sign "Dilarang Masuk oleh Sesiapa" hanged on the door. we continue to chat (this time the tauke tok happily about his machines) , thn Kenneth suddenly asked the tauke whether he could show us the 'printing factory' o not! O.o'''' the tauke leh, waseh, quickly opened the 'forbidden' door happily for us n let us had a good view of wad's inside. we were awed by rows n rows of printing machines inside. so cool man!!! still got big big computer with big big screen. the 4 of us (TohSoon, Me, Piaw, n Kenn. May ying went back oledy coz got sth to do) 'oooooo' here 'oooooo' there. hehe~ such a good experience for all of us. eh~~ it's not everyone can simply open the 'forbidden' door n peer inside leh~! we were really lucky today to be given this opportunity :) thnx lah~ tauke~!!! after tat, we bade goodbye to the tauke thn climbed into TohSoon's car. he's driving us home today XD

so we had our dinner at Open Air there, ate the beef noodles. nice! the waiter there (for drinks one) very jiak lak one. after knowing tat there's no 'Luo Han Guo' sellin there, i asked for any other 'Liang Cha', as me cough cough n sneeze sneeze now. he sed:" oh, got. 'Sien Chao'! add with Sarsi." n i was like, = ___ = sarsi?? i oledy sed "liang cha" n u want me to drink sarsi again? so me just ordered a tin of Teh Bunga, as usual :p anyway, me enjoyed the dinner v much (^_^) TohSoon also sed will bring all of us go eat again when the whole magazine is out! yay!

weeee~~ really really a million thanks to Kenneth for erasing and destroying that stupid virus brontok that had 'invaded' into my com last month! Muahahahahahaha~!!! now my computer speed is as fast as lightning!!!!

nolah, just kidding one. but surely my usual com speed has returned lah :) wakakaka! i'm loving my com again!!!! XD

maybe sum of u wonder y does it get to do with my sis's office computers? well, when my sis came back from KL last last week, she insisted me on burning my files to her, using my com, even though i'd warned her about the virus that were swarming gleefully around my computer system. so, when she got back to KL, opened the files, saw a suspicious folder thn clicked onit and WHOALA~!! there u go, virus in her com XD

at first it was just her own com that kena virus. but when she transfered files from her com to the other office coms, u know wad the outcome lah. those virus, became more n more happy coz got more n more nest to live. the virus, i wonder y, only like to attack the com speed while the other files n systems n so on (duno all those pc terms) remained unscathed. so u see, my sis could still do her design work, but it's such a torture for her if she wanted to finish a big project in time coz the speed is TOO slooooooow. untill she nearly went mad XD

so, knowing that my fren, that is, kenneth *points to the guy in the pic* was going to come over to my house to destroy the virus, my sis desperately wanted his hp number from me last night (she called me halfway during my Add Maths tuition..duh..) and phoned kenneth straight away for the solution O.o''' i bet he was shocked upon receiving my sis's call. anyway, as expected, kenneth was going to type down d ways of destroying the virus, step by step, n email it to her, coz how on earth are u going to explain such a complicated thing which involves so many procedures just by using a phone call?? XD

kenneth only sent the thing he typed to my sis this morning when we (graphic team of school mag) were finalising up pur work in the school com lab. after that, kenneth came for the rescue!! (^_^) with toh soon coming too coz he's the driver for kenneth today! XD so, during the process of killing off the virus in my com (muahahahahahahaha) kenneth got to chat with my sis. not actually chat lah, but showing her ways and the steps of using the duno wad get-rid-of-brontok software. yup, specially made for destroying brontok by a bunch of Penang ppl whose english and malay very pro one. for eg. usu when a clearing of sth is completed, a window will pop out with words like 'cleared'. but this software leh, very kiang one. they showed ' di-clear-kan'! hehehe~ first time see this kind of manglish. lol!

so, by the end of the day- nolah, just by the end of the..erm..morning? doesnt matter. both mine n my sis's coms are freed from virus brontok!!!! yay!! all thnx to kenneth chen!!! XD btw, he also helped me to install sum scanning software n also the spyware detector, and HOLY GOSH!!! i only knew today that there are 320+++ spywares in my com!!! O.o''' *gulp* but everything is ok now~! weeeee~~~~~

'Crocodile Hunter' Irwin killed

Australian naturalist and television personality Steve Irwin has been killed by a stingray during a diving expedition off the Australian coast.

Mr Irwin, 44, died after being struck in the chest by the stingray's barb while he was filming a documentary in Queensland's Great Barrier Reef.

Paramedics from Cairns rushed to the scene but were unable to save him.

Mr Irwin was known for his television show The Crocodile Hunter and his work with native Australian wildlife.

Police in Queensland confirmed the environmentalist's death and said his family had been notified. Mr Irwin was married with two young children.

Mr Irwin's manager John Stainton told the BBC the stingray's barb had pierced the personality's heart.

"He came over the top of a stingray and a barb, the stingray's barb went up and put a hole into his heart," he said.

"We got him back within a couple of minutes to Croc 1, which is Steve's research vessel, and by 12 o'clock when the emergency crew arrived they pronounced him dead."

The incident happened at Batt Reef, off Port Douglas.

Australian Prime Minister John Howard said he had known Mr Irwin well, and that the country had lost a "wonderful and colourful son".

"I am quite shocked and distressed at Steve Irwin's sudden untimely and freakish death", he said.

"It's a huge loss to Australia - he was a wonderful character, he was a passionate environmentalist, he brought entertainment and excitement to millions of people."

The stingray is a flat, triangular-shaped fish, commonly found in tropical waters.

It gets its name from the razor-sharp barb at the end of its tail, coated in toxic venom, which the animal uses to defend itself with when it feels threatened.

Attacks on humans are a rarity - only one other person is known to have died in Australia from a stingray attack, at St Kilda, Melbourne in 1945.

"Stingrays only sting in defence, they're not aggressive animals so the animal must have felt threatened. It didn't sting out of aggression, it stung out of fear," Dr Bryan Fry, Deputy Director of the Australian Venom Research Unit at the University of Melbourne said.

Experts say that while painful, stingray venom is rarely lethal and it would have been the wound caused by the barb itself, which could measure up to 20cm long, which proved fatal.

"What happened to Steve Irwin is like being stabbed in the heart. It has little to do with the venom and all to do with the trauma caused by the barb of the stingray," Dr Geoff Isbister, a clinical toxicologist at the Mater Hospital in Newcastle, Australia, said.

Mr Irwin had built up what was a small reptile park in Queensland into what is now Australia Zoo, a major centre for Australian wildlife.

He was famous for handling dangerous creatures such as crocodiles, snakes and spiders, and his documentaries on his work with crocodiles drew a worldwide audience.

But he also courted controversy with a series of stunts.

He sparked outrage across Australia after cradling his one-month-old son a metre away from the reptile during a show at Australia Zoo.

An investigation was launched into whether Mr Irwin and his team interacted too closely with penguins and whales while filming in the Antarctic, but no action was taken.

Foreign Minister Alexander Downer praised Mr Irwin for his work to promote Australia.

okok, so we are finally, not a prefect anymore. damnlah, i'm going to miss my bureau very very very much! Muacks~~ love u guys alot!!! the ppl from Traffic Bureau!!!! XD

the night was just full of excitement!!!! yuuuhoooooooooooooo~!!! screams and laughters and 'werewolves' filled the entire night! eventhough there were teachers around! ha!

the performances were good too! espcially the sketch did by the Discipline Bureau!!! Wenli arr~~ u guys just rocked the whole night, ya know? haha! we really had a good laugh at ur guy's perfomance. and congratulations to u guys for getting the best performance of the night! :D

well, our bureau was not bad too (^_^) Jeremy's acting as a sissy girl made the whole atmosphere got so high!!! wakakaka!!! and there's no thinking twice for the teachers to choose the best male actor coz Jeremy is the man!!!! Ha! i'm gona search around for ppl hu had videotaped our whole sketch and post it up here, to let u guys see how good Jeremy is in acting! XD well, Jerusha won the best female actor. oh man~~ she's so damn sexy naughty and bitchy in the sketch! haha!

well well..Wenli mentioned that she didnt win any luckydraw at all...but hey~ u guys got the best performance, and tat's quite a thing oledy (^_^) as for me, last night was the first time in my life to win a lucky draw. yep~ the first time :p couldnt believe when Hua Beng called out my name! but in the end, every prefect got their own pressies also :) each of us were given the certs for being the prefect and also an Allan D'Lious ink pen, with our names carved on it! :D

now...i wana tok about food. we had our dinner at the Thai Bangkok Seafood Restaurant, so u can imagine wad kind of food they serve lah :p all hot and spicy with tomyam sumore. but i didnt get to taste much. in fact, most of us just ate a bit, coz we were too bz with screaming and shouting and whistling and jumping up and down and watching and enjoying and lafing and snapping photos and etc etc etc until we all got too excited to feel the hunger :p only until i stepped into my dad's car that i realised i had onli ate 1/4 of the dishes tonight! O.o'''

well...photos.....need to wait lah ~.~ i need time to run around the school again to collect all the photos my frens had taken last night that got my face in it. but at the meantime, u can visit wenli's blog as she brought her cam last night :)

ok, looks like my internet connection hasnt fully recovered yet. it only allows me to online for a certain time. puck lah~! now i cant even download my fav manga and animes and songs and movies etc etc etc T_T
